Cambridge, MA engineer and artist, LEGO focuses most of his work on his graphical representation of stackable bricks. Inspired by his passion for playing with and building countless LEGO sets coupled with his love for technical drawings, LEGO is developing his own wild creations. Most pieces are creaed using multiple stencils with aerosol paint to create three-dimensional brick walls on various two-dimensional surfaces. Just like stacking bricks as a kid and adult, stencils are stacked one by one on walls, paper, canvas, skateboard decks, t-shirts, and other media to create painted wall structures. He also uses metal and wood to make die cut isometric shapes of bricks.
LEGO's work can be seen throughout Cambridge and Boston and has been in collabrative shows at MEME Gallery, Fourth Wall Project, and Massachusettes College of Art and Design. He has donated pieces to non-profit organizations like Spero, inc and local schools, such as Cambridge Nursery School.
